After the successful Stevenage Challenge campaign of 2019, Burger King announced that it’s now sponsoring the Stevenage FC Women’s team as well. But this wasn't just any sponsorship. Burger King was the first brand to sponsor a women’s team with the same terms and conditions as the men’s team. For the launch of this unprecedented deal, the brand changed its name and logo to Burger Queen, both on the team's kit and local Stevenage restaurant and even its social media accounts.
